Day 1

Arrival at Airport and Trip to Munnar

When you arrive at Kochi airport our representative will be waiting for you. It will take approximately 5 hours from Cochin Airport Arrival terminal to Silvertips Munnar resort in Old Munnar town. We will proceed to Munnar and on the way to view waterfalls like Cheeyapara and Valara. When you reach the Munnar town you will see miles and miles of tea gardens covering the mountains like a green blanket. Enjoy the resort for the night and if possible watch a movie in the minitheatre.

Day 2

Sightseeing - Enjoy Munnar

Wake up to a new day watching the sun over Munnar tea gardens and enjoy the morning breakfast in the resort cafe which is named after the movie Sound of Music. We will pick you up for the sightseeing in Munnar from the front facade called Mughal E Azam and enjoy the day doing local sightseeing in Munnar. This stylish mountain place was once the summer resort of the British government in South India and British only discovered that Munnar is a place in India that is best suited for Tea. Local traveling of Munnar contains visit to Echo point, Kundale Lake and Mattupetty Dam. You can also visit Rajamalai which is the abode of, “Nilgiri Thars” which is on the verge of extinction. Day 3

Departure from Kochi

After breakfast check out from Silvertips Munnar and drive to Kochi Airport / railway station (depending on your departure place) for your flight / train back home, feeling happy about a movie themed stay and the natural beauty of Munnar Tea Gardens. Book for an evening flight from Kochi so that you can do some sightseeing in Kochi also if time permits.
