The property overlooks the Chokkanmudi peak, the Letchmi hills and the Kannan Devan tea plantations in Munnar. This is a quiet retreat away from the hustle and bustle of town with very friendly and helpful staff. This home stay features a traditional clay oven bakery, a charming café and a small library. The significance of the name ‘Mistletoe’ is related to a plant with this name which is considered sacred in Greek mythology. The ancient people believed mistletoe could cure diseases, make animals and humans more fertile, provide protection from witches, and bring good luck. Mistletoe has been attributed as good omen for love, romance, warm family life and relationships, prosperity from time immemorial especially in the medieval European era. The resort boasts of neatly kept modern rooms with amazing walk in shower/bathrooms and balconies overlooking the misty mountains. The rooms are spacious provided with comfortable bedding and linen. The décor is contemporary with hues of blue and white. The room balcony offers breathtaking views of the hills and valleys where you get to witness amazing sunsets and listen to soothing bird songs.   • Mistletoe is situated at Iruttukanam, Munnar on the Kochi – Dhanushkodi National Highway 49 at a distance of 20km from Munnar town.
  • It is located between Munnar and Adimaly, ideally at the gateway junction to the Kannan Devan hills of Munnar. The nearest town is Adimaly, the famous hub for spice trading in Idukki district, and it offers all health care and emergency services.
  • Cochin International Airport is only 89 kms away from Mistletoe at a driving duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes and Aluva railway station is 90km away.
  • Biovalley Spice & Herbal Garden located at a distance of 2km from the resort offers the best of its kind plantation tourism. It is a 35-acre forest track where the plantations include pepper, coffee, cardamom, cinnamon, other spices, ginger etc. There is a well-laid-out nursery, where thousands of flowering plants, herbal plants, medicinal herbs and fruit tree saplings are grown and nurtured here.
